Paul Kole Studio approaches shipping as an extension of the work itself. Each piece is prepared, packed, and transported with attention to structural protection, material preservation, and long-term integrity.

Because many works are constructed in large scale and contain dimensional surfaces, erosion textures, and architectural framing systems, shipping methods vary according to the size, weight, and installation requirements of each work.

Processing & Preparation

All works are prepared and packed directly through the studio.

Please allow appropriate handling and preparation time prior to shipment. Larger works, framed structures, and installation-scale pieces may require extended preparation periods, including custom crating and freight coordination.

Collectors will be contacted directly regarding timelines when necessary.

Domestic Shipping

​

Smaller and mid-scale works may ship through professional parcel carriers using reinforced packaging systems designed to protect dimensional surfaces and structural edges.

Larger works may require:

• Custom crating

• Freight shipment

• White glove delivery

• Scheduled installation coordination

International Shipping

International shipping may be available for select works.

Additional shipping costs, import duties, customs fees, taxes, and destination-specific charges remain the responsibility of the collector unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

Freight & White Glove Delivery

Monumental works, relic structures, and installation-scale pieces may require specialized transport services.

In these cases, the studio may coordinate:

Collectors will be informed of all freight arrangements prior to shipment.

Packaging & Crating

​

Works are packed using professional materials appropriate to the scale and construction of each piece.

Depending on the work, packaging may include:

• Reinforced cartons

• Protective foam systems

• Custom-built crates

• Surface stabilization materials

• Structural bracing

The studio reserves the right to determine the most appropriate packing method for each shipment.

Installation Responsibility

Collectors are responsible for ensuring appropriate wall strength, installation hardware compatibility, and safe mounting conditions.

Large-scale works may require professional installation.

Installation recommendations and hardware guidance may be provided upon request.

Shipping Damage

​

All shipments should be inspected immediately upon delivery.

​

If visible damage is present:

​

1. Photograph the packaging and artwork immediately.

2. Retain all original packing materials.

3. Contact the studio within 48 hours of delivery.
   ​

Failure to report shipping damage within this timeframe may affect claim eligibility.

Delivery Delays
